Profile

Completed MBBS in 1997 and Post-Graduation MS (General Surgery) in 2002 from Calicut Medical College. Awarded Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in the year 2005. Obtained Fellowship in Vascular Surgery from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India in 2005. He was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2006. He obtained advanced training in Vascular Surgery at Dusseldorf, Germany in 2006, St.James’s Hospital, Dublin, Ireland in 2008, Mayo Clinic USA and Leicester Royal Infirmary. He obtained ChM in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery from the University of Edinburgh, in 2019.

Experience

He had been in Vascular Surgery practice since 2006 and presently is the Senior Consultant Vascular Surgeon and Head of the Department at Starcare Hospital, Kozhikode, Kerala. He also works as Senior visiting consultant Vascular Surgeon at Aster MIMS, Kozhikode. He had previously worked as Associate Professor and Consultant in Vascular Surgery at MES Medical College, Perinthalmanna, Kerala from August 2008 to December 2021. Also had worked as Consultant at PVS hospital Kozhikode from 2009 to 2018. 
He has extensive experience in dealing with all types of Vascular Surgical Problems. His areas of interest being, Limb salvage surgery, Infra-popliteal angioplasty, Venous interventions & AV access surgeries.
